Little Library Bags: Author Visit with Niamh Donnellan Saturday 13th December at 3.00pm - 4.00pm For Ages 4-7, but especially Junior Infants
Liam the Leprechaun, Betty the Banshee, Pádraig the Púca, Willow the Wisp, Fiadh the Fairy and Seán the Selkie all have two things in common.
One, they are all from families of mischievous Irish creatures. Two, they would all very much like to make a friend! But how will they do that when their magical powers keep getting in the way?
Join author Niamh Donnellan for stories, fun and giggles and the chance to draw your own magical creatures!
Niamh will read also from a surprise book from the Little Library Bag. Each Junior Infants aged child that attends will receive a free Little Library Bag at this event.

Festive Party with Sarah Sparkles Saturday 6th December at 10.30am-12.00pm Suitable for all ages/Family event
Light up the spirit of Christmas in this interactive storytelling event with Sarah Sparkles. Celebrate Christmas in the library with magic, songs, stories, dancing and lots of fun - Topped off with bubbles! Guardians must stay for the duration of the event. Tickets only needed for Children.
Gael an Bhradáin: Spraoi Teaghlaigh um Nollaig / Christmas Family Fun Tuesday 16th December 5.30pm to 7.30pm
Join us in the library and use your cúpla focail for a bilingual evening of board games, prizes and a visit from Father Christmas. All levels of Irish welcome! Organised by Gaeilge an Bhradáin with support from Kildare County Council and Leixlip Library.

Hello, We are delighted to present our New annual 2023-2024 brochure “Go Further with KWETB” with details of the courses we are currently enrolling in Co Kildare. In KWETB we have a wide range of full- and part-time courses across the county in our 10 Further Education Centres. This e-Brochure contains contact information and course details for each Centre, and we are encouraging everyone who is thinking of returning to education or to learn a new skill to contact their local Centre for advice, support, and information and how to enroll. There is a course for everyone, advice to navigate the education landscape and supports to meet a variety of learners needs in Kildare and Wicklow ETB. Some of these errors can be typical errors that resolve without the need for direct intervention. However, some other children present with delayed phonological processes, disordered phonological processes, articulation difficulties or motor-based speech difficulties. The aim of this talk is to help you identify if a child requires support in developing their speech and what strategies you may be able to implement to help support them.
